WHY WE SING

By now most of us have seen or heard about the Montgomery brawl, unless you live in a cave. “First I’d like to say that I don’t advocate violence” but in this case it was needed. First let me give you some background for this breakdown. This pier is the exact same place where slaves were dumped off, this was a Harriet Tubman boat and this black 65 year old man was just trying to do his job, they had been begging and pleading with them to move their boat for 45 minutes to no avail, matter of fact, not only did they hear them, they ignored them and left their boat anyway, just like an ENTITLED RACIST WHITE MAN who still thinks that no white man has to respect any black man, because he is superior to them. The orange one had just been there the night before gassing them up. This is not the first time these same people ignored the pleas of this captain time and time again. For all the people who say it had nothing to do with race then tell me why when they went to the hospital, and they saw that all the people that could help them were black they left before being seen. ENTITLED RACIST WHITE PEOPLE fucked around and found out this aint the same generation from the 50’s and 60’s.  This generation is different, and they fucked around and found out because the Harriet was full of this generation of young strong black bucks with the attitude of I don’t give no fucks.

We sing because for the first time in a long long long time we got to see real justice and we are not too used to seeing that.

We sing because we saw black people stand together for this brother and come from land and sea to help this grandfather out. And to stop these ENTITLED RACIST WHITE MEN from killing him.

We sing because ENTITLED RACIST WHITE MEN actually got dealt with and we could see it firsthand, so this wouldn’t be another Amaud Arbry, or a little black boy with skittles, a sleeping nurse, or a black man eating cereal in his own house with his boxers on.

This video went viral with the majority of people black and white and other ethnic groups saying that they got just what they deserved and now there are songs, memes, Tik Toks, and reenactments.

On Amazon you could get t-shirts, earrings, necklaces, coffee cups, even phone cradles that are white chairs. Why did this get so much traction because black people are sick and tired and so is everybody else.

Most of us got pure joy and felt a sense of relief watching this because we are tired of ENTITLED RACIST WHITE MEN being able to do whatever the hell they want, so for a couple of minutes we saw justice and not a modern day lynching, not a killing, not a murder.

This is what they used to.

NOT THIS

WE SING BECAUSE WE HAPPY
