How many of these incidents do we have to keep seeing, before the fraternal order of police realize that they are in denial, and that this is a POLICE CULTURE that they let continue, and it is broken and needs to be dismantled, because apparently deescalating clearly is not working, matter of fact it’s quite the opposite. It seems that the officers come ready to start something. I’ve concluded that a lot of these officers were bullied or were bullies, and now they have the opportunity to inflict physical, emotional, and psychological pain on innocent, soft targets such as women, children, mentally unstable, and the elderly. It seems as though these officers get off on embarrassing people especially black people. Putting them in their place so to speak. You have seen this in so many cases. Which tells me that they have no power in their personal life whether that’s at home or in their jobs.
This man looks just like he could be our uncle Johnny who we go to for advice about a situation and he tells us to trust God and pray. Johnny Hollman was a deacon at Lively Stones of God Missionary Baptist Church.
Aug 10, 2023, in Atlanta Georgia at about 11:30pm there was an accident and Deacon Hollman who was a father and a grandfather, coming from bible study, called the police, little did he know that this would be a grave mistake even a life-threatening mistake, although he was doing what we as God given American free citizens are instructed to do when you are in an accident. The sad, chilling, and horrible fact is that his daughter would hear her father as he begged for his life, begging for air, and calling her name for the last time, all because a young 23-year-old officer who was not raised the way most of us black people were, and that was to respect your elders no matter what. Instead, he had to show this 62-year-old man that he was in charge and exert his power, control, and presence on Deacon Hollman, just because he could and because the police culture supports these egregious acts, and even stand by the officers who commit these heinous, cold-bloodied murders. Even with cameras, witnesses, and onlookers as well as officers in the vicinity twiddling their thumbs, watching as the very air that people breathe leave their body, even their last breath doesn’t warrant any kind of rescue for a human being, even if he is the same color as you. Everybody who has your skin doesn’t mean they’re for you, especially once they put on the blue, they become paddy rollers just like their white counterparts because it’s their culture.
On the side of the police car, it says to serve and protect when it should say CONFRONT CRIMINALIZE and CONFINE YOU. I realize that the white racist republicans are terrified and are doing everything they can to destroy Georgia, specifically Atlanta like they did black wall street, with your cop city, your voter suppression laws like sb 202, and your gentrification, but you are supposed to be found innocent until guilty, but as black and brown people we know that is pure BULL SHIT.
What I need to tell these black police officers you still BLACK and your ass is going straight to jail do not pass go. No matter what you see happens to the white officers you BLACK. A good example is the 5 black officers who murdered Tyre Nichols that were charged, but the white man who sent yall on a wild goose chase he didn’t even get charged. Well, you will see when your ass gets in prison that you BLACK and you will be treated as such. The culture of the police needs an overhaul from the president of the Fraternal order of Police, the Chiefs of the police department, and the legislation that lets people like Chauvin who killed George Floyd in broad daylight and on Nationwide Tv get 10 years. The police (MO). modus operandi the way they do things, has to change and then the culture can change, until then, we ask the question.
