Lord help! What is the world coming to or going to. I feel like my parents now, when I say this because that’s what they used to say all the time, every time something bad would happen, they would say this world is going to hell in a hand basket. I didn’t understand it then and still don’t, but I get the gist of it.

Most of us feel like we just came out of the twilight zone. A place where no one goes, but we all did and, unfortunately some of us didn’t make it out. I recently held a meeting with young and old, black and white, gay and straight, republican and democrat, and I came to the conclusion that we all feel the same way. We have NO CONTROL. We feel like we are just twirling in the wind, or hanging from a tree full of strange fruit.

I know at this time we all are in these zoom meetings every day, trying to figure out a solution to life’s problems, well I didn’t want a meeting like that. I wanted a meeting where we all could just be. A safe place to vent and talk about what we are going through mentally and spiritually.

During this time it was at the worst time in history. When we had a clown for the president and the people were dying like roaches on a raid commercial, but what I found so interesting is that regardless of where we were in life, financially, spiritually, or psychologically, we all were scared of what the future might hold. Will there be a future? What would it look like?  Because we all witnessed a catastrophe of enormous proportions that none of us in our wildest nightmares, or Hitchcock dreams would imagine a life like this, but here we were. Filled with dread and sadness, not knowing what to expect.

I feel like for the first time ever, people all over the world really looked through the lenses of what we as black people have experienced all our lives. In a world that supposed to be free. Many of us have lived these lives behind closed doors, lives that only a few people were privy to see, the behind the scenes, only because they were directly related or involved with a black person.

The store clerk following us, the rude interaction when we go looking for a job, or apartment, the looks we get when we are traveling, or driving a nice car, or living in a neighborhood that is predominantly white or rich, or how people perceive us as either a threat, ignorant and ghetto, or criminal.

They say that you innocent until proven guilty; well that’s never the case for black and brown people; as we witnessed that’s not always the truth; in fact we are guilty until proven innocent and we can see that through the eyes of the innocent people who have been wrongfully locked up and most times without any shred of evidence to prove their guilt.

For years we have heard that the war on drugs is a justification for locking up black and brown people. I beg to differ. However; I feel it’s even more than that, it’s another form of slavery, another version of the old Jim Crow, another form of segregation. It wasn’t until we saw with our own eyes and heard with our own ears as George Floyd was crying out for his dead mother, and the white cop choking the very life out of him, while being videotaped and not caring, continued and even had a smirk on his face as he killed him live and in color for the world to see. We witnessed the inevitable happen. We saw the hatred this man had for a black man. Hatred for a black people in this country, which was built by us but not for us.

In case you don’t believe that take a look into history and you will see that mostly everything that was made was created by a black man or woman, sorry I digress.

The culmination of years of injustice against black people by the legal system was televised for all to see. Gil Scott Heron said the revolution will be televised and he was right. The George Floyd murder case is being televised everyday on Court TV as we speak. In the last 5 years there have been thousands of black people killed by the cops and NO ONE has ever been charged for murder. Let’s see what happens this time while the world is watching. They always make up an excuse as to why the person was killed. He was reaching for something, he was on drugs, he was out of control, he was acting strange, and these are just a few of their lame and weak excuses. The bible said inexcusable old man, in other words stop lying.

It’s not only cops that are killing minorities. Look at the white man who killed a young kid with skittles in his hand based on a made up law to justify hurting black and brown people. Stand your ground and yet he was acquitted because, he said “I feared for my life” from an 80 pound child with no weapon. That’s the new script handed to the white man or woman from the lawyers, to get away with assaulting black and brown people.

Then we have a lot of Karen and Kens who know this country is full of racist ideology laws and rights for white people, especially these last 4 years.

There was a time like James brown says; they was just your ordinary next door neighbors, but when the orange one came into office, now they’re the oath keepers, proud boys and such. Karen used her lies, to get people kicked out of the pool, out of the restaurant, out of their dorm room, out of their neighborhood, even out of their own apartment, while setting people up for murder by saying their attacking me in the park.

This continued until people started directing and producing their own movie and putting it on a popular platform called Facebook and Instagram. Black lives matter and the me too movement aligned with new laws and perceptions slowed some of it down, but because of that white people had no one to blame for their screwed up lives until someone initiated the lie that Asians brought the virus over here. Which is absolutely preposterous and don’t make no sense at all, seeing that they live over here with us, if that’s the case we all been carrying the virus.

So now they have an excuse to hate the Asians so much so that they just walk up to anybody (they think) is Asian and beat them up based on a lie initiated by a hate monger.

The sad truth is that this is not the first time Asians have been targeted by these cowards. In 1882 there was the Chinese Exclusion Act. I love how they call it an act, because it says how they act towards that group of people. Then there was the bubonic plaque in the 1900’s they blamed the Asians for bringing in that disease anything to justify their so called righteous actions. Later they put them in internment camps sound like prison to me.

The United States has always found a way to vilify any minority group at the time of a white man’s crisis.

What is wrong with us here in America, the so called land of the free and brave. I think that whole saying is wrong, because we are not free and people are definitely not brave, matter of fact people are punks. Everybody is always messing with the least one. This time it’s Asians, before it was blacks, before that it was women, then kids, then elderly, then Hispanic. In the beginning it was the Native Americans.

Even more fundamentally, Indigenous people were just too different: Their skin was dark. Their languages were foreign. And their world views and spiritual beliefs were beyond most white men’s comprehension. To settlers all this stoked racial hatred and paranoia, making it easy to paint Indigenous peoples as pagan savages who must be killed in the name of civilization and Christianity. (History)

We lock up the wrong people, we judge people who are different, and we hurt the weak people. In other words we find the most vulnerable group in society to blame. In the hood we call people like this B.a.n. and some of yall know what that stand for.  

There was too much attention on the Me too movement and the Black lives matter, so they had to find another weak oppressed group to harass for their messed up life. I personally think the orange one has left remnants of hate, division, and prejudice in some of us like the shot we scared to get, because we think it’s gone be filled with a chip, that will change who we are as male and female or make us monkeys.

Hatred spreads and all it needs is someone who has the mindset that says I’m not prejudice. I got a black friend. I never had slaves. I don’t judge people or mistreat them. That may be so, but if you stand around and watch a person hurt somebody, you just as much to blame as the person committing the crime, in law they call that party to a crime.

When you do nothing like the republicans did while the road runner inflicted hate, hurt, pain, and division among certain groups of people, while praising others they are just as much at fault as he is. In my opinion actually more because, they could have said something that could have possibly changed his mind, but they didn’t and look at where we are now.

What I find interesting is that some white people have always felt like they were superior to others and wasn’t afraid to say it or show it. They came to this country and tried to demolish the Native Americans, because they wanted the land and they still do, and when they couldn’t they manipulated them with liquor and lies. Today it’s called restructuring boundaries, same difference.

In the 1600’s they dragged the black people here from Africa to be slaves. They tried to use what they considered the lower class whites, Asians and Native Americans as slaves, but somebody went over to Africa and said there is a group of people we could use that is not as weak as the Asians and Native Americans.  Sound like the 12 tribes going over to Canaan but only 2 coming back with good news. They big and strong and dark so they could stay out in the fields all day, without getting burnt. Let’s go get them by any means necessary and they did.

What these groups had in common was there were a lot of them, and they invented everything they used, and I would also add they were beautiful too. See the European is always looking for ways to do less work, but get all the credit, while using people they say is beneath them so they could justify discriminating against them or as they say keeping them in their place which to them is beneath them.

In reality the reason for the hatred, division, prejudice and killing is FEAR. Fear of losing control of being the majority race. For hundreds of years the white man has been in control and able to extinguish anybody who got in their way of getting, doing or taking what is NOT theirs, so they scared that all the people they have taken advantage of will someday get them back. They worried that all the minorities will wake up and realize that we all are oppressed people and until we learn to work together against the one common enemy we will never be free.

In hindsight you look at some of the laws they tried to pass to make sure that races couldn’t be together and it all makes sense when you look at the possibilities of what could be and not the false narrative they want us to see.

For example; you can go to any city in America and everybody is segregated. In San Francisco the Asian people are in separate districts, as well as blacks, Hispanics, Native, etc. Yes; we know that some of us choose to be around the people we are used to, but there is a deeper, darker and more dangerous secret within us, that has been instilled in us as kids and it’s called mistrust. Whether you black, white, or Asian, society has carefully helped to perpetuate what is a common form of prejudice or myth about the different races and what to expect of them.

Here are some of the lies they have put on black people. All black people are lazy, drug dealers, deadbeat fathers, hypersexual, welfare recipients that don’t want to work. When in reality most of us have worked ever since we were about 10, doing odd jobs in the neighborhood until we got real jobs.

Here is another lie; all Native Americans are good for is drinking, beating their wives, pow wows, and being tax exempt and getting big checks from the state. When in actuality they run the casinos and the service stations and keep our earth susceptible for us to live in.

Here is another lie they have put on Hispanic people so we will NEVER trust each other; Hispanics are known for getting drunk, having a lot of babies, and being in gangs. However; what is left out is that they are very family oriented and have a lot of respect for their women, hard working for little or nothing, consistent, and dependable.

Finally one of the biggest lie of all; the Asians are known for nails, beauty supply stores, and Chinese restaurants but in reality, everything we have is made in China, and their very smart and is responsible for most of our new technology in America not to mention everything that we use.

I could go on and on about different races and what society has poured into our spirit about expectations of a certain group of people. Our job is not to believe everything people say, but to investigate it for ourselves, and do some research, get to know people for yourself because you will find that we are more alike than different.

Black Americans have been the victims of hate crimes for years, some people just didn’t know it, but we knew it, just not how prevalent it really was, until people started videotaping stuff.

Is that why the orange one was trying to shut down tic tok, Facebook, and Instagram, because the people who pulled the puppets strings told him to. The leader in the old administration was all about division and bigotry. That sounds like the devil to me, because the good book says that the devil loves division and he hates unity from anybody. Unity is the white man’s kryptonite. We witnessed the power of unity with the black lives matter movement all over the world. There were black, brown, yellow and even whites marching for justice for us.

Ever since the beginning of slavery to denying us our equal and civil rights 4o acres and a mule, to threats to kill us, lynching to beatings, firebombing homes and churches to coming into our church for bible study, only to shoot and kill innocent God loving people. Black people have been hated and tolerated.

We all have been tolerated for too long and we’re sick of it. When you are tolerated it doesn’t matter who you are you can become a victim of a hate crime, whether it’s a women, a child, or someone old. You could be Hispanic, Asian, black, or native, or gay. You are prone to violence because of your status in the world.

The system has used racial violence do I dare say to control the natives. Any form of unity is a threat to their economic power, so they MUST keep us apart, but if ALL MINORITIES stick together. Can you imagine what the world would be like “(love sweet love, no not just for some but for everyone)” I will not be connected by hate.
